Wolverine!
That's right I posses the enhanced regeneration mutation, foot feels tons better.
Prepped the soda kiln ready for a Danish potter coming on Monday, reclaimed more clay and did a spot of cleaning.
Me and Mat had a...manly stroll round the park and took some snaps, then I spend the day pissing around, casting and mold making. Lets just say I should of stayed on the wheel.
Dinner was outstanding! Homemade sushi, miso soup and dumplings made by are Japanese networker Yoshiko Naragino.
Sports day tomorrow!

The longest of days
30 bowls...31 bowls done, finished, completed
Foots a lot better, got some crazy drugs of the Russian. Think there were some kind of Soviet military issue enhancements. Had a sit down and got my strap on...,strapped up tight
Had to explain the difference between tea and dinner which was testing...tea's the evening meal and dinners the afternoon meal. Appose to dinner being the evening meal and lunch being the afternoon meal.
Cooked far to much food hot pot with; 2.5kg potato's, 1kg carrots, 5 leeks, 300g mushrooms, few onions, garlic, 10 large chicken breasts, half a bottle of white wine and some stock. (x3) Cauliflower cheese and 2 loafs of seeded bread...twin food babies!
Oh and my cooking partner of the evening Ann Laycock got a bit loosey goosey on the wine-beer-whiskey combo...mess of a woman!
Finished off with a talk-talk-talk by our Brazilian artist in residence Luciana Beatriz Chagas, and in her words..."Visual dirt"...(totally out of context but my quote of the day)

Suffering
Well that wasn't easy, finished work which was a massive struggle as I've got my Dr House limp perfected.
Reclaimed about 150kg of high fire clay, started on some earthenware and did a little cleaning/tidying.
Time to trim some bowls and then its off to the shops to get dinner, Paul Reid's Kitchen Nightmares

Medic!!!
So I have a club foot, well it's just my two toes on my right foot but dam it hurts, but as Chuck says "Pain is weakness leaving the body"
Got my last few bowls thrown which was a struggle, just a little trimming tomorrow then it casting time!

Jobs done; Wood stacked, clay reclaimed, networkers assisted....toes possibly broken. Dropped a tall whirler off the desk, onto my mother f***ing foot!!!!

Tuesday...what, where...gone
Been busy all day today as the main man was back cracking the whip. So what have I done, errr? stuff?
Had a plaster/mold demo and a chat with Richard which was really helpful.
Had some leftovers fried up then back to work, wood piling, cleaning, help mend a kiln. Got my "to do list" off the king which isn't bad. So I'm aiming for 8am start till 12 then I'm freeeeee to do what eva I...what eva I choose...
It's time to get serious!

Finished the day by watching Drive www.imdb.com/title/tt0780504/ , staring Ryan Gosling... Intense, bloody and a great sound track. Which was used 80's style, overlong scenes, no dialog, just....driving!

Lazy Sundays
Late start on Sunday as me and Matt stayed up till 5 watching the post season of american football, so I didn't surface till 11:00ish.
Quick breakfast, studio clean, a bit of trimming, dinner then the big game...3-2 to the champs. Thank you very much and welcome back Paul Scholes.
There's still a cold wet Manchester feel to the weather. I kind'a want some snow now.
Had some awesome brinner ( breakfast for dinner) American style. White gravy I here you say? Oh it's so good I could drink a pint of it or just inject it right into my veins.
Then I finally got some throwing done...yeah I remember now, that's why I'm here.
