It's time for a switch'eroo

So the newbies are here in numbers! One extra female, one less male (no show from a yanky). Still massively out numbered, although now we have the Danish legend...The Sten! He comes to Guldagergaard every year for a round 6 months as an artist in residence. More about him later.

The tiny woman has stayed on as a 3rd assistant but the kings still giving me the "Shity bits" (rubbish jobs).

With only just over 2 weeks left I've just about finished my making. I've bisque the majority of my work and  am planning to wood firing this week, which will just contain only my work.

So we were instructed by the king to take down the last of the exhibition from the networks and then to put some work together from the collection, only to find out after our hard work that Mette wants it switching back round again! f***!!!

The last few memories

My chicks have all flown the nest back to there homes, and what was I left with...a dirty sweaty house to clean. Id like to thank K and Irina for that.

So I've been shunted out of the office (mine and Matt's bedroom) to the other side of the house to await the arrival of 2 bro roomies, a brit and a yank. They've got big shoes to fill.

Its been a quite day about the house and studio, with everyone leaving and our artists off enjoying the pleasure of Denmark.

The Sunday scramble

Me and Matt kept are dinning tradition alive for the last time, the Sunday scramble. Four eggs with what ever we have left which normally is blue cheese and bacon, then maybe some peppers, onion, mushroom and garlic....lets just say we didn't save the best till last

Weekend in brief

Friday night; The show went well, the after show went even better. After we went through a number of bottles of champagne and beers we hit up a restaurant by the harbor. We made our way back to Guldagergaard for intoxicating and a medley of weird and wonderful youtube videos.

Saturday; zzzzzzzzz.....Me and Matt are now up to date with "How I met your mother". In 6 weeks we've pounded through seasons 5, 6. and 7!

Sunday; More zzzzzzzzz. The current network group are finished and will be leaving on tue/wed so it packing and cleaning. Im current getting enough work together for a wood firing next weekend, where hopefully I can recruit some of the newbies to lend us a hand.
